Facebook offers many entertainment applications and games which engage users to a great extent. Apart from that, Facebook chat and Facebook video chat are another two time-consuming features. If you want to use Facebook to your advantage, set yourself a time-limit. Spending too much time on Facebook might make you a Facebook addict, and you might end up wasting too much time.

Advantages
Twitter apps exist for smartphones and tablets as well. This gives people the opportunity to maximise their audience across multiple platforms. E.g. you can reach people who use Twitter on their phones but not on their computers, or on their tablets but not their phones.
Post frequency requires careful tuning. If you post infrequently, your audience is less likely to see your posts compared to other feeds. Post too often, and you can lose followers because your "spammy" posts are junking up their feeds. Striking the right balance can be a tricky feat, requiring both time and analysis.

Advantages
Unlike any other job, if you are blogging, you don’t need to work from 9-5. You can work at any time of the day and work with your ease.
You are your boss. You are free to do anything. You can plan your work and easily work on it. No boundaries at all.
There is no one give you orders. You can do your work freely. You can easily concentrate on your work and write some posts daily.
You can do your work in an organized manner. Everything becomes so simple, either you are satisfied with your work or criticizing your work. (www.shoutmeloud.com)
Disadvantages
You have to work alone till you struggle hard and find a new opportunity to expand your work so that you can hire someone. Sometimes this lead to significant frustration.
Therefore, if you are planning a full-time blogging, select a partner and get a room or a small office and work together.
Make sure you maintain a decent balance between social and internet life. Talking to friends on Facebook or IM is not considered as socializing. You should go out and meet friends and be a part of family.

Blogging requires discipline. Most of the bloggers don’t have a schedule while moving from day job to full time blogging. Sometimes they work during the day and sometimes during the night. This breaks the discipline which a blogger should have while working online. The reason behind this is freedom and plenty of time in life to enjoy every moment of this opportunity.
