Digital marketing is a level five course in ofiach institute of further Education that has been established for two years now and has been established for those who seek a course in third level in any given institute or university. You can also use your digital marketing certificate to enter any job with computer software involved in it.

Modules

Communications- Communication studies or communication sciences is an academic discipline that deals with processes of human communication. This module has nine assignments to complete which consists of written and oral assignments. Communications is mandatory for those who seek to obtain a full level five award.

Work Experience- Work experience is a collection of work that must be done to obtain a full level five award; this consists of written work and a ten day work

Behavioural Studies- Behavioural Studies- Behavioural studies is the study of people a the way they behave. There are two assignments worth twenty per cent each and an exam worth sixty per cent. Behavioural study is a mandatory module you must pass to obtain a full level five award. The term behavioural science encompasses the various disciplines and interactions among organisms in the natural world.

Spread sheets- A spread sheets is an interactive computer application for organization, analysis and storage of data in tabular form. Spread sheets are developed as computerized simulations of paper accounting worksheets. Spread sheets on Excel has two assignments and an exam the exam is worth 20% whilst the first assignment is worth 50% and the second assignment is worth 30% of the overall grade.

Bookkeeping- Bookkeeping is the recording of financial transactions, and is part of the process of accounting in business. Transactions include purchases, sales, receipts, and payments by an individual person or an organization/corporation. This module is all about how to make and keep company accounts together. There is ma written aspect and a computerised account each is worth 45% and an exam which is worth 10% of the overall grade.





Digital marketing- Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium. In the assignment in this module student must state what is digital marketing, what are the advantages and disadvantages to using social media and the companies and firms that use it.

Marketing practice – This module is compulsory to gain a full award in digital marketing, there are two assignments each carrying 30% and an exam which is worth 40% of your final grade. Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.

Desktop publishing- The production of printed matter by means of a printer linked to a desktop computer, with special software. The system enables reports, advertising matter, etc., to be produced cheaply with a layout and print quality similar to that of typeset books. In desktop publishing there are five assignments and an exam. The exam is worth 30% and the assignment range from 8% to 12%. For the assignments students must do a brochure, magazine, and an application form and a business card.

Advertising- Advertising is how a company encourages people to buy their products, services or ideas. An advertisement is anything that draws good attention towards these things. It is usually designed by an advertising agency for an identified sponsor, and performed through a variety of media. Ads appear on television, as well as radio, newspapers, magazines and as billboards in streets and cities. They try to get people to buy their products, by showing them the good rather than bad of their products. In advertising there is a project that is worth 60% and an exam that is worth 40%. The exam would be on a specific date, whilst the project would be done throughout the school year.
